3 Main Objectives : Education, Employment and Communication
Organizations purpose :
Organizing Billava youth
for the purpose of social, Educational, Religious, political and
economical development.
Precipitating the philosophy, ethics and preaching of Brahmashree
Narayanaguru one of the epoch-making seers of the present century
and encouraging power for organizing the backward communities .
Enlightening Billawa youths about political sense and leadership
and thereby organizing Billava Community to represent Local Administration,
Assembly, Parliament etc.
Enlightening youths of community about Religious, Education, Social,
Medical, Lyrics, Sports etc, fields.
Identifying and honouring the community members of enthusiasm who
could achieve success in various field and also encouraging efficient
youths.
Organizing various programmes for the development of efficiency
of youths.
Informing the educated and eligible youths about the employment
opportunity in the public and private sector concerns, arranging
training, guidelines for the candidates who desire to take up competitive
and administrative examinations.
Arranging training, workshop, and encouraging youths on Self employment.
Establishing local chapters with a view to extend the activities
of organization and uniting total Billava Community and thereby encouraging,
guiding youths of community to join the main stream.
Arranging various programmes and striving for the eradication of
diverse problems faced by Billava Community.
Establishing Education Institutions for the benefit of Billava youths.
Assisting eligible students by way of scholarship, adopting economically
poor students, informing about the higher studies, giving proper
guidance, establishing co-operative societies, giving necessary and
useful information, arranging information bureau on professional
course, establishing hostels, establishment of self employment bureau.
Publishing house journals so as to through light and enlightening
the community people on different developments. Identifying the efficient
prospective writers, encouraging them through these house journals.
Organizing women of the community through Women Chapters and thereby
encouraging them to join the main stream of the society. Emphasizing
and encouraging simple and dowry free marriage, common marriage etc.
Cultivating and developing the awareness of oneness and also brotherhood
feeling among each and every member of the society.
Developing responsive leadership among the youths and thereby channelising
the youth power for the developmental activities of the society and
also achieving organized power.
Respecting rights of other members, framing all the members of society
as good citizens of the country and also striving for the communal
harmony by mutual respect to all the caste and religion.
Participating in the programmes arranged by other organizations
of the society and strengthening the communication links with them.
Area of Operation:
Chapters of Yuvavahini may be established at any place in India
by minimum 10 youths Billava community with the prior permission
of the Central council . At present a number of local chapters are
functioning at Dakshina Kannada, Udupi districts and also Mysore
and Kasargod districts.
Membership:
Any one of Billava community or of any sub – communities of Billava community
with sane mind and within the age group between 18 and 50 years may be allowed
as members of Yuvavahini.
Application for the membership may be submitted in the proforma prescribed
duly accepting the terms and conditions for the becoming member of Yuvavahini.
A membership fee is fixed at Rs. 25/-(Rupees twenty five only ) which is amenable
for change at any time. Life membership fee is Rs. 1,000/- and members above
the age of 50 tears may continue as honorary members.
General Administration:
For the purpose of administration and organizing programmes each chapter has
separate working committee and for the overall administration separate working
committee selected by the Central committee will be there, Central Council
is responsible for the decision, implementation and also controlling the
activities of all the chapters. The tenure of the Central Council and Local
Chapters is strictly for One year and any member cannot hold any post for
more than one year.
In furtherance of the main objective ‘education’ a
sub committee ‘Vidya Nidhi’is founctioning under the
control of Central Council. The president of Central Council is also
the president for Vidya Nidhi. Vidya Nidhi will founction as per
the direction of Central council .
A house journal ‘SINCHANA’is being run by Yuvavahini
for the purpose of developing proper communication among the member
of Yuvavahini, community members in general and also enlightening
them about various developmental activities/ programmes of the organization.
An editorial committee manages this house journal according to the
directives of organizations. The president of the Central Council
is the Honorary Chief Editor of the journal. Encouraging the budding
writes through this journal is another main objective of maintaining
this journal.
Central Council:
Central Council consist of President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Joint
Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretaries(District wise/ Taluk wise),
Individual Development director, Employment and carrier Guidance director,
Sports and Health director, Lyrics and cultural director, director for publication
of the preaching of Sree Narayana Guru, director of organizing women chapters,
Ex- Presidents of Central Council, members of Vidya Nidhi committee, House
journal Editorial committee members, Presidents and secretaries of all the
chapters, Central Council Advisors and also the members co-opted in Annual
General meeting.
